"All I can say is this is, hands down, the ABSOLUTE best place!!! With being older, I originally started looking for a place to do bonding and was referred to another office. This particular office was highly recommended being upscale, premium location. Unfortunately, from the moment I walked in the door, my experience was far from what was expected and made me feel like I made the biggest mistake. It took me 5 months to decide to just try another place. I had already been to Dr. Murphy , 4 years ago, for my daughter with awesome results and great experience sooo decided to just see. Well, all I can say is that is was the absolute best decision I ever made. The moment I entered I was immediately greeted with smiles, checked in and before could sit , I was called back by Julie to start the process. It was very emotional, I know silly but a smile is everything. I’ve paid/ paying for 4 sets of braces and seeing the smiles on my daughters/ stepdaughters is truly so heartwarming knowing they are happy, confident in themselves, their smiles. As I’ve aged the spacing in my teeth have gotten worse resulting in my own insecurities and not wanting to smile or be in pictures. So it was now my turn, it was me in the consult seat and I was nervous, embarrassed but this Team, Dr. Murphy , each person I interacted with helped make this decision the best decision. Julie was great from the moment I sat down helping make the right choices, payment plan etc. It was quick, efficient and all communicated to Dr. Murphy who came in going over entire plan, answering all questions. Once I said, “ Let’s do it!!” I was quickly met by an orthodontist assistant and my Invisalign Journey began. The entire Team is truly amazing!! It really does make a difference and I am beyond grateful to all of them. Soon as you walk in you are greeted by (I think) Courtney and Cheryl (sorry spelling) and they are always smiling . As for the Orthodontist Assistants, I’ve had a few different ones but the one that goes above and beyond every single time , is Rhesa. My stepdaughter is also currently being seen and even if Rhesa is not seeing either of us she makes a point to just come see us to check on us!! Rhesa is just the sweetest ever . She has amazing chairside manner from building trust, reducing anxiety, and providing clear, compassionate communication. I’m on the ending stretch of my journey and on my last appointment she showed me everything, broke it down for me, explaining in detail then asked if had any questions. Lastly, every single appointment literally takes 15 minutes , 20 probably because I talk to much but that just means I’m comfortable. "A few months ago, I initially went for a consult for my daughter who is 10. She is at the in-between age of losing teeth faster than her mouth is growing. Because of this she will develop crowding. Unfortunately, we have to wait and Dr. Murphy will follow her closely and determine if she can start in 6 months or 12 months. In the meantime, I needed to focus on myself. I am a teeth person. I am obsessed with teeth. This is the first thing I notice when meeting people. We get cleanings every 6 months and are very into our teeth. We take care of our teeth! My two sons had braces at the same time, so it was not affordable for me to get braces to fix some minor imperfections. I had braces as a child and unfortunately did not wear my retainer because I left it while evacuating during Hurricane Katrina. My smile is beautiful and I get complimented on my teeth all the time. But some of my teeth have shifted and my gaps are opening up. I found this to be the perfect time to focus on myself, while waiting for nature to take course with my daughter. Murphy Orthodontics is amazing! From the central location on Vets., to the office aesthetics.....the feel is chill and calm, and the staff was amazing. Following them online, you can clearly see that this is more of a family than a business. They celebrate birthdays, host holiday parties, staff anniversaries, and have even held baby showers for a few staff members. This looks like a wonderful place to work and it seems as if everyone really enjoys their job, this is key for the success of a business and happiness of people. This was my 2nd consult in 3 months, so I have a base line to review my thoughts. I am very observant and you can tell that everything was carefully thought out. I was really pleased with everyone's ability to make me feel welcomed and ok with everything. Communication was wonderful from the time we walked in to the time we left. The financial coordinator really worked with me to make sure that it was affordable for me and I was OK with everything. I really appreciated this because my daughter and I will be in braces at the same time. Being a self paying patient really was a challenge and I learned this a few years back when my sons were in treatment together. They do not offer specials often, but they were running a special for the end of May, where you had to get braces as a same-day start. I started and everything was explained to me. The top braces were put on and I have to return in eight weeks to have the lower ones put on. I love that I was able to bring my daughter to wait with me and she was able to come with me wherever I needed to in the office. This is super important because I'm a single mom. I'm so happy to have found Murphy Orthodontics and I see why the practice is thriving. I chose the original metal brackets. Initially, I was gonna go with Invisalign, but I'm always very worried about the results. Knowing that I've had braces before, I was not sold on doing something that I was not sure about. I chose the original brackets and am pleased with it. Their motto is… people first, teeth second. Thank you, Murphy Orthodontics for helping to make my smile more beautiful! I usually take pictures of everything, but unfortunately, I did not. I will update my review to add pictures after my next appointment."

Dr. Murphy put me at ease explaining in detail how the process of invisalign would work . I am very happy with my progress . He has a great staff everyone is friendly, personable, helpful and make you feel at ease. I recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone who is considering braces."
