All I can say is this is, hands down, the ABSOLUTE best place!!! With being older, I originally started looking for a place to do bonding and was referred to another office. This particular office was highly recommended being upscale, premium location. Unfortunately, from the moment I walked in the door, my experience was far from what was expected and made me feel like I made the biggest mistake. It took me 5 months to decide to just try another place. I had already been to Dr. Murphy , 4 years ago, for my daughter with awesome results and great experience sooo decided to just see. Well, all I can say is that is was the absolute best decision I ever made. The moment I entered I was immediately greeted with smiles, checked in and before could sit , I was called back by Julie to start the process. It was very emotional, I know silly but a smile is everything. I’ve paid/ paying for 4 sets of braces and seeing the smiles on my daughters/ stepdaughters is truly so heartwarming knowing they are happy, confident in themselves, their smiles. As I’ve aged the spacing in my teeth have gotten worse resulting in my own insecurities and not wanting to smile or be in pictures. So it was now my turn, it was me in the consult seat and I was nervous, embarrassed but this Team, Dr. Murphy , each person I interacted with helped make this decision the best decision. Julie was great from the moment I sat down helping make the right choices, payment plan etc. It was quick, efficient and all communicated to Dr. Murphy who came in going over entire plan, answering all questions. Once I said, “ Let’s do it!!” I was quickly met by an orthodontist assistant and my Invisalign Journey began. The entire Team is truly amazing!! It really does make a difference and I am beyond grateful to all of them. Soon as you walk in you are greeted by (I think) Courtney and Cheryl (sorry spelling) and they are always smiling . As for the Orthodontist Assistants, I’ve had a few different ones but the one that goes above and beyond every single time , is Rhesa. My stepdaughter is also currently being seen and even if Rhesa is not seeing either of us she makes a point to just come see us to check on us!! Rhesa is just the sweetest ever . She has amazing chairside manner from building trust, reducing anxiety, and providing clear, compassionate communication. I’m on the ending stretch of my journey and on my last appointment she showed me everything, broke it down for me, explaining in detail then asked if had any questions. Lastly, every single appointment literally takes 15 minutes , 20 probably because I talk to much but that just means I’m comfortable. Metal braces are a longtime patient favorite for a good reason. This appliance has proven time and time again it’s highly effective in treating almost all orthodontic issues. We place metal brackets on each of your teeth and thread them together using a wire for this treatment. What makes our appliance stand out is using NiTi wires, heat-activated wires that move over time, so you only have to come in once every eight weeks. We understand that you have a busy schedule between work and getting your child to soccer practice and need to
be in the chair as little as possible. While we love seeing our patients, we’ve seen how helpful these cutting-edge wires have been in their treatment progress.
If you want the reliably stunning results of braces but need an appliance that’s a little more discreet, clear braces may be the perfect option for you. Our clear braces use tooth-colored ceramic brackets instead of metal ones so your appliance blends into the natural beauty of your smile. Many of our adult patients appreciate this option and are excited about the beautiful results they’ve achieved after wearing them. However, when deciding which appliance is right for you, it’s important to note that ceramic brackets are slightly less durable than metal brackets and might be more prone to breakage.
How to Take Care of Your Braces?
Taking care of your braces is simple, but it can take some time to get used to cleaning around your braces. You should continue brushing twice a day and flossing often, and we suggest you take a few extra minutes and pay attention to the hard-to-reach areas. This way, no food debris or harmful bacteria will sit on your teeth and lead to issues such as tooth decay or even loss.
How Long Does It Take to Get Straight Teeth?
